The User Agreement has undergone minor adjustments. Take a moment and review it and make sure you can live with it. The link is below.
You will notice, among other things, a new 1 post per topic per day limitation. All Users will still have the same unlimited posting opportunities each day to start new topics or reply to the thousands already in place.
Our extensive research suggests: 1) This 'per topic' limitation will give others more of a chance to reply before things proceed at a rapid pace. 2) It will lessen the possibility of an opponent "piling on" before the original poster or original respondent has had an opportunity to reply. 3) Respondents will be able to "sleep on" their next reply which may result in a more tempered, more thoughtful response. 4) Goodwill should increase. Now, in view of this amendment, consider: The edit time for your posts and replies has been upped to 4 big hours. So, if you have something to add or change to your post that day, just hit the 'edit' icon (the little paper and pencil on each post) and make the adjustment rather than posting again. Multiple edits per day, per post are possible if desired.
Obviously, the Cafe rules are kept to the barest minimum and updates to the User Agreement are rare. Thanks to all posters and for your understanding.
