My wife Ina and I live way out in the country and we have been self supporting for over 30 years. When all our four children were at home, we all worked together to keep the place going. We had bees, chickens, goats, horses, bees, and other types of small stock. We also ran a small saw mill and cut lumber for all kinds of building projects.
We also went on mission trips to Ukrain and Moldova mostly part time. Now that the children are all gone we would like to go again. But we would like to have a young couple that are kind of on the ball and would like to live out in the country, to live here and help out There won't be any pay, but there are lots of potential to make a good living from our saw mill and other wood working equiptment. Also you would be able to keep some live stock and build your own cabin or house. I am 62 years old now and there is just too much work for me and my wife. We would liked to be freed up so we can go minister without having to pay some one to take care of the place. Dave Donahue P.S. This is Northern Alberta

Indeed; Canadian immigration is problematic. The American system is statist/socialistic as it is; far worse is the cradle-to-grave statism in Canada, alas. There are still many wild places to live in America, for those who seek a life of isolation; I think the ideal is to have a rural life, but in company with saints and sinners such that our mission field is local, as well as worldwide.
