A lawyer and two of his buddies were fishing on Caddo Lake in Texas. A lightning storm hit the lake and most of the fisherman immediately headed for the shore, except for our friend the lawyer and his pals. He was alone at the rear of his aluminum bass boat while his fishing buddies were huddled up front. In a true act of defiance, the lawyer stood up in the boat, spread his arms wide and shouted: "HERE I AM LORD, LET ME HAVE IT!"
Needless to say, God delivered. The other two passengers on the boat survived and
are said to have immediately gone into the ministry.
