We are discussing the Biblical picture of walking in the spirit on the forum and I was reminded of this little humorous quotation.
A little boy was overheard praying, "Lord, make the bad people good, and make the good people nice."
What kind of witness are we for Christ when we claim to be like Him and yet we fail to exercise the faith necessary to walk in the same spirit? Rather than glorifying God we cast reproach upon Him.

Oh, my, Jeff, that one certainly hits the nail on the head! That may cross back to the earlier discussion about "not being righteous overmuch".
Did you know Ruth Bell Graham was a terrible prankster? I guess she kept everyone in hilarity - even in the midst of all the serious responsibility she had.
