As an example of what you are saying David, the province of Québec in Canada was once known as being more Catholic than Rome. That was up until the late 1950s. Since then, there has been a steady decline, as in a free fall from a cliff. As a result, the real estate that they accumulated had to be evaluated in money terms recently. Shocking to everyone, it was found that they own more than the provincial government owns. Can we now just imagine the mess, if the question came up, like:
"Because the history of Rome in Québec adds up to a fraud against God and that the Québec government do not represent a sovereign State, and that Canada and Québec cannot get along, then who is to manage the accumulated wealth and power from here on?"
