Several changes are in the works. It's time for a slight mid-course correction, so to speak.
The spirit of the NT church was one of mutual participation and mutual evaluation, as well. Prophets spoke, the rest judged. 1 Corinthians 14. For that to happen in our midst, things need to slow down a little. A new posting guideline of 1 post per day will allow others to evaluate and perhaps reply to your ideas before you proceed to another or continue to add to your own thread. Exception: You may post more than once if you haven't done so in several days.
I, the moderator, am interested in networking and collaborating with brothers and sisters who believe that the Word of God actually provides plans for what a church should look like and how it should function. The User Agreement has been changed to reflect that goal.
Everyone will be need to read and check off the User Agreement again, since it has changed.
Also, I am modifying the scripts which power this forum to use the word "User" instead of "Member." There is nothing to join and no one has any formal relationship with the sponsors of this forum. Thus, there is no "denomination" being created.
Our forum is of such a size that there exists the incentive for advertisers of products you don't need or want to sign on and start sending unsolicited ads to individuals. Please report it if it happens to you.
New users and old ones will now be required to identify themselves and their general location if they haven't done so. Supply your display name, using no more than one initial - first or last initial is fine. (Examples: John D or J Doe or John Doe) You change it by the "my profile" link after logging in, go then to "edit profile" link. Enter the name of your state, if you're a USA resident. City name is not a must.
Unfortunately, we cannot satisfy everyone but fortunately anyone should be able to find or start a group which does. Any feedback sent to me via the "contact" link on each page will be thankfully and prayerfully considered. Jesus Reigns!

----- User Agreement -----
Welcome to the Radically Christian Cafe
Do uplift the Lord Jesus Christ and esteem others better than yourself. Do hold the Holy Scriptures as eternal truth as did He. Speak that truth in love - everything else should take care of itself.
The fine print:
Blatantly false teachings, failure to justify one's views from Scripture, rudeness, extreme disingenuousness, inordinate complaining, threats or ultimatums of any sort, attempts to engender self-pity, overposting, or denigration of this User Agreement may result in immediate cancellation of user status without warning or appeal.
If you intend to continually attack Christians of other branches of the Church, your time would be better spent elsewhere. If you don't view the basic apostolic teachings and practices as normative for today's church, we are unable to accomodate you. Reason: No agreement on where to start invaribly leads to no agreement on where to go.
Whenever you disagree with others, and you will, offer criticism in a constructive manner, reasoning from the Scriptures.
Do attempt to post in an appropriate forum where similar topics are discussed. Post no more than once per day to assure equal access and fairness. Exception: You may post more than once if you haven't done so for several days.
We reserve the right to move off-topic posts to an appropriate forum, to delete posts, to close posts, to reformat posts for readability, and to rename posts but not to edit them.
Keep it in mind that we are creating a record for those who will come along later.
Your email address will be verified but not disclosed or shared at any time. Your ISP server number will be recorded each time you access this forum.
Finally, be a blessing and an encourager to others as we seek to bring every thought captive to our King and mutual Friend - Jesus, the Christ!
