It is not: a group, a building, a fellowship, a doctrine, or most of all a method. It cannot be contained in a building or even a house. The church has a head, but not a leader. The head of His church is Him and it must be so even in a local expression of Him. It(the local church)is not an it that we control, IT IS Him, THAT WE ARE PART OF.

I have quit, at least for now, to seek a local church. All I have seen are sidetracked in to something. I have most recently been sidetracked into the housechurch. And have just had my eyes opened to that.

IT ISN'T ABOUT THE CHURCH!

IT ISN'T ABOUT THE NEW DENOMINATION CALLED "The house church".

IT MUST BE ABOUT HIM , YES MY FOCUS MUST BE ON HIM !

IT MUST BE ABOUT ME GIVING UP ALL MY CONCEPTS, ON EVERY ISSUE, TO KNOW ONLY MY LORD, MY SAVIOR, MY LOVER!

Now I seek Him and parts of his body anywhere and everywhere. For I no longer can hold to my views, I need His view.

Often, I feel like a small fish in the middle of the Pacific. I have been just swimming around a small lagoon. Leaving the organized church (and the organized house church) was like clearing the reef. Behind me is a small part of the expression of Christ. In front of me in any direction is ALL of Christ, so vast I shudder. I think of the safety of the lagoon, but I have tasted the freedom of Jesus. I am unsure of where to go or what to do. No longer does IT matter for I am engulfed in HIM.
