Hi! I am new here- but have been reading off and on over the past few months. My husband and I started a church that meets in our home a little over a year ago. It has been such a wondeful adventure in faith! I love it and would love to see more people experience God in this way! My question is in reguards to multiplication- I do believe that God is working in his way and his time and I certainly dont want to see any forced multiplication program or anything, but being so new to this I was wondering if anyone had any examples to share of how God has muliplied their house church, or if anyone has any tips of any kind.

Hi, Jeanne! Welcome, and thanks for joining in enthusiastically.

I HIGHLY recommend, Very Highly recommend, Can't Recommend Too Highly this resource:

http://www.cafepress.com/cpcoaches/753261 Church Planting Training CD.

Did I mention I recommend it highly?

This is the nuts and bolts of completely de-Westernizing and de-Institutionalizing and simply teaching people to Obey Jesus.

Hogan's storytelling style is phenomenal, his examples mind blowing and the success of his team in being able to walk away and consider it "done" from a NT style explosively growing church after only a few years gives credibility.

It's 30 hours of listening, several handouts such as Jesus' commands vs. Apostolic Practices vs. Man's Traditions. We have found so much help, and nothing that we disagreed with, as "simple church-ers".

He also has just published a book on their experience in Mongolia, "There's a Sheep in my Bathtub". We are going to buy a case and give it to everyone for Christmas.

There are other great resources online, but if I were going to recommend only one thing, that would be it. Best of all, it is very inexpensive. "Career church planters" travel and pay a great deal to attend this conference, and we can listen to the whole thing for just 29.95.

Feel free to ask me any questions.

Blessings to You, Glory to Him,
Laurie Ann
