Act 1:12 Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey away. Here we see the followers of Jesus waiting for the "promise of the Father", the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. They were staying in an upper room. There were about 120 waiting there in prayer. My question is, "Was this a private home or a rented room?" It seems rather large for a private home. I don't have a room that would seat 120. I didn't think the early homes in Jerusalem were that large either. Most of the HC homes seem only to have about 7-15 people meeting together. Could someone shed some light on this subject, the upper room mentioned in Acts?
