1) the late E.W. Kenyon had written an excellent book on personal Evangelism, which is a step by step course. Kenyon was also the writer of other good books such as "the Father and His Family", etc.

2) John F. Havlik, a southern baptist minister who had written several books that while out of print, are still available through the interlibrary loan system at your local public library. "The Evangelistic Church", and "Where in the world is Jesus Christ?", and "People Centered Evangelism"

Mainly, these men deal with the ability to evangelize outside of organized churches and denominations. Striving mostly for a one to one relationship, in much the same way that God desires to have with us.

Both of these men have demonstrated a keen awareness and an understanding that evangelism begins outside of our front doors, and within our local neighborhoods. Their approaches are both simple, yet practical. Also, their approach requires no extensive Bible College or Seminary training to be successful. Primarily, all you will need is a heart felt desire to share Jesus Christ with your friends, relatives, and neighbors. And a average knowledge of the scripture.
