Praise YOU LORD in whom all blessings flow.
Hello everyone!
Has anyone EVER had to go through harrassments for homeschooling? It is a blessing to have home church and we administer homeschooling as well. I have my certification in the state of Alabama and it gives me the right to be a personal tutor to any child (including my own). Satan would love to stop me from homeschooling because, of course, I am teaching the children about the FATHER, SON [JESUS], and the HOLY SPIRIT. Please pray for our family. I know that GOD is going to use our children mightily to win many souls to the Kingdom of GOD. Please come LORD JESUS.
Where in Ala are u sister? I live in St. Clair county - lots of folks homeschool, just had home Bible study with one mom who does. My sister does also.

Glynis, Having church at home seems to be a natural progression for many who have decided to school at home!
I'm sure you will find lots of homeschool families in house church connections! Harassment of homeschoolers is wide spread in many places but I would not say that it is experienced by a majority of homeschoolers by any means! It often depends on the area in which you live and also on the attitudes of local school board officials. Most in our area are very helpful and positive towards homeschooling.
In our home church there are 7 families who are presently homeschooling or have homeschooled in the past!
I was interested in your topic heading: "Human Resources Harassments". "Human Resources" seems to be a favourite designation of men and women created in the image of God by more and more government agencies today! More and more we are not viewed as creatures of God but rather as commodities or resources...THINGS to be used, adapted, or conformed to the philosophies of society! Homeschooling and home churching tends to set people outside of many systems which are employed to "refine human resources"! So I guess some harassment should be expected as some key players in the process of such refinement sense the "loss of control" over "human resources" they have come to view as their own!

If you would like to email me privately,Glynnis, I can put you in touch with a lady in AL who can advise you about your CPS issues. So many times, it's not honmeschooling so much as the fact that you are different from the "norm."
