The children of our home church fellowship meet in their own home church, at the same time on Sunday as the adults, but at a different location in town. They have two adults with them who act as facilitators, but not as leaders.Yesterday the children invited us to join them for a joint service which followed a cooked breakfast for about 20 of us. The children then shared what the Lord had been teaching them recently. As the Holy Spirit gives them pictures or visions each week, they draw these and put them in a Scrap Book, together with the written interpretation of what the Lord is saying to them. Usually a different child will be given the interpretation to the one that was given the picture, and they receive confirmation in this way.
The adults then shared what the Lord had been showing us in the last few weeks. And can you guess? Yes, we were being taught almost exactly the same lessons as the Holy Spirit had been teaching the children - all without a programme - at least not an earthly one. I certainly came away really encouraged by what the Lord is doing in all of us.
Praise His Holy Name.
