My wife Cathy and I feel called to move to Sheffield S.Yorkshire. The elders in our current church sense that we should start a house church. One of these elders, who has apostolic oversight of many churches actually started his ministry as a house church leader so I guess its in the 'blood' of our stream! We agree as we feel that the current 'Church' is seen as irrelevant or even predatory by 'outsiders' and we feel that our call is to take the 'risky' route of making friends first with our neighbours and showing how God, and we, can meet their perceived needs. The risk is that we will be 'sucked into' the world. Any contacts in the Sheffield area would be appreciated as would any positive advice.
