I am one of a group of people who meet together and who see ourselves as church but not home church. We have been seeking the kingdom of God on earth for five years now and have realised how much we have (through traditional and charismatic church experience) absorbed the language and culture and thought we knew God's ways. It seems to us that what we mostly knew was man's ways and that a lot of the knowledge of God we possessed through the mind. We needed to be deprogrammed and felt to start at the very beginning.
Many boundaries have been broken and it seems that some of us have come into the place of the kingdom of God where we have entirely devoted ourselves to Him and see Him as our Lord. Him as the Word is multidimensional, not flat and on a page only. We are careful to check our experience with the Bible. We feel that the Holy Spirit is leading and teaching us and believe that we are all priests unto God. There is no ordained person that leads or gives communion and we believe that Jesus Himself is our covering. I am sending this though there is much more to say.
Welcome and may I say a hearty amen to your quest for reality in the Life of Jesus Christ without religion. We here as well in the mountains of NC/flatlands of SC. We are just a few families and young (in the sense of time together). Feel free to email me privately. My hope is to glorify my Lord Jesus in all things, to crucify the flesh and walk on earth as it is in heaven.
