Hello everyone...

I'm a recent member here. I'm a Christian, living in Australia at the moment. I was interested to see this site and have discussions with other brothers and sisters in Christ.
I'll soon be getting involved in discussion and posting a few of my own topics as well.
I haven't had visions or seen amazing miracles performed, but God has helped me a lot through my life, especially when times were hard, and I've read the Bible all the way through twice and am now somewhere in the Old Testament again.
I'm studying the Bible for many reasons, not least so that I can speak for and become more alike to Jesus.
Well, I hope to meet you all and I hope we all get along.

Welcome Relic,
It's better to read the bible all the way through with a view to becoming more like Christ than to have visions. Some people get dramatically converted, perhaps by a healing or vision, but then its up to them to follow Jesus. 'Obedience is better than sacrifice'; and you could also say that obedience is better than experiences. However, genuine experience of God usually leads to obedience. I'd encourage you to go on reading the bible. I've read it many times through and even in the last two days I'd say I have more light on it than ever I did before. 'God is faithful'- One of my favourite verses by the way.
