Hello. I would like to introduce myself to you. I am new here, and new to the idea of a house church. However, I have come to believe over the past several years that the IC is not interested in following the leading of the Holy Spirit, and they are not interested in really loving one another.
I am in the process of trying to find some more experienced home-churchers to fellowship with. I am enjoying learning from all of you on this forum, and I hope that the day will come when I will have contributions to make as well.

I trust that your day will not tarry long, Teresa. Remember in James' letter how God gives wisdom to ALL who ask. Not just to a special class of some sort.
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5
That means all of us, no?
Thank you for that intro, friend. May the Lord direct your steps as you step out into the unknown. To Him, nothing is "unknown."
Remember, in this Cafe there are no stupid questions - just an occassional stupid answer. Heaven knows I've contributed my share of them... but praise His name, anyway. So glad you have come along! Now, will you be drinking tea or coffee, today?

I am not a coffee drinker, so I will have to go with tea. Thanks for the welcome. I am learning a lot from this group and others on the internet.
We're with you in your journey, sister. This transition for us took a little while, even after being part of a small home church group that met in a larger church building. And let me harmonize with what David mentioned above: please don't think you have to reach a certain "level" to offer contributions. He mentioned James, please allow me to mention I Cor. 14:26 (everyone has something contribute) and I Cor. 14:12 - seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church. Your thoughts, questions and testimony will encourage all of us!
Thank you for joining in, Teresa. May the Lord give you, along with the rest of us, light for the way ahead!
