Hi this is Pat and Nancy from Wisconsin. Nancy here (as I will do all the posting. Pat and computers are not the best of friends...lol) We have just recently decided to home church. There have been some great discussions here on making the transition to households of faith from traditional church, and I hope you will jump right in to any and all discussions.
Our family has been in transition for about 5 years now, and in some ways we have come a long way, and in others it seems like the basics are still somewhat elusive!
What have you read or heard so far about house church? What was the "breaking point" of starting to seek this alternative way of "Being the Kingdom"?
I'm very interested in chronicling the journeys of those who have come to this place.

My wife and I have been meeting in homes for the past 18 years, but only recently have we seen and experienced true networking among home churches in our region. Things are finally opening up in our region. You've got to be patient. But the fruit of our patience is well worth the effort. Hang in there. Let's keep praying for each other.
