I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I'm
new to the list (and hope I'm doing this correctly!...
I haven't posted to an email list like this
before...so, here's hoping!).

I haven't had opportunity to read all of the postings
I've recieved on this list, but my heart is very
warmed by the ones I have read. It's very refreshing
to read the thoughts of like minded believers.

Although I know I will find others who are not in
agreement with some of my beliefs, I tend to look for
and communicate on similarities, rather than
differences. The main similarities I look for is that
of being spiritual siblings, forever united as members
of this Precious Body of Christ, and communicating how
our relationship with Christ finds expression in our
every day lives, and becoming living testaments of His
Precious Life that flows through us as yielded
vessels.

I am so very blessed to have found this list. The
main draw for me, apart from the obvious, was the
description that communicated being a list that
focuses on our commonality, rather than our
differences.

Not that I don't see benefit in 'reasoning together'
on differences, but it's wonderful to have a haven of
focus on like-mindedness. There is much debate going
on everywhere over even secondary issues. What a
breath of fresh air to find this list which focuses on
our commonality.

Since this is developing into a much longer email than
I had intended, I will bring it to a close and share
more at a later time, rather than overwhelm your
mailboxes
