Dear Brothers and Sisters:I read your messages on the Home Church Network and they made me smile
We are also a part of a 1st century "home church" meeting in Minnesota. We meet in Burnsville on Friday nights to worship, honor and adore our Lord, and to have true fellowship with each other. We believe in "Body ministry". It's amazing how the Lord has brought every gift into our group (and without us even trying)...pastor, prophet, evangelist, teacher, etc. Nobody has or needs a "position", we flow as one. Each week brings something new, we never know what God will do next. Fellowship continues throughout the week with Bible studies, prayer, dinner and just good clean fun. I love the new wine, and finally, finally, finally, God has given my husband and I new wine skins.
After years of serving in the institutional church, I was left feeling frustrated, confused and desperatly hungry for more of God. No one else seemed to understand this frustration and after a while I began to feel like Elijah sitting in his cave muttering something about being the only one left who really cares.
Praise God we are not alone!!! There are many, many, believers all across this land who are hearing the trumpet call to arise. This move of God is crossing over the man-made barriers of denominations. We are the true Bride of Christ. Some are called to stay in the institutional church and be a voice calling out to prepare for the way of the Lord. Others, like my family and the ones who have joined us, are experiencing
the joy that can only come by worshipping Jesus in Spirit and in truth.
We will be starting a new home church in Minnetonka MN Lord willing in May. If anyone is interested please contact me at watchr4hm@hotmail.com.
God Bless all of you,
Cynthia Warner
