it amazes me...totally! when God moves and works in our lives...i'm blown away! i KNOW HIM...i KNOW His power...yet i'm still so totally amazed when i see Him at work in our lives..accomplishing His purposes!
i am becoming very sure that God has separated my husband and myself (from the the established and traditional church)and is beginning (has already begun)) a 'home church' in our midst. why?...i'm not sure. who?....don't know that eaither!
because my husband and i are both sensing this new direction of home gatherings (to worship God), we have begun to intentionally pray that God would bring others into our midst. it will be very interesting to sit back and watch God move!
please join us (joe and lindy) in prayer, before God's throne, to ask God to move in the hearts of WHOEVER...and to bring them into our midst...or WHERE EVER! we are waiting and watching.
wow...again....HE amazes me! i'm so thrilled to be His daughter!

Lindy, Hey, your not excited are ya!!!!!!! Praise Him!! Where are you guys located, if I might ask..ya never know, I might be across the street from you!! My husband and teenage son have been 'what your doing" for awhile now. Our house is open for fellowship and we are lookng out the windows, watching, waiting for the Lord to send someone over! Joe and Lindy, You are not alone! Many are in exactly the same boat! Have you checked out the House Church Registry at http://housechurch.org/registry? There are quite a number registered in PA! Maybe some are near you! Have you registered? If so others can locate you as well!

I can tell you that as you cling to Him and search after Him that you are going to look back this time next year and exclaim to yuor husband, "I am amazed at how much we have grown as a family in the Lord!"
You know why I know that? Because I just said it to my wife a few weeks ago. We also left the mainstream over a year ago and God has been faithful, faithful, faithful!!
Please keep us informed as to how you are doing and if there are any prayer requests ...etc.

A hearty "Amen" to Mike's comments! We too have experienced the same just in the last 9 months! We and others in the house churches we are involved with keep on exclaiming to each other, "Hasn't the Lord taught us so much since we began to gather in this way!" "These things would never have happened where we came from!" "The Lord keeps on moving us out of our "comfort zones" in order to reveal more of Himself!"
As you wait on Him, and purpose to obey Him in whatever He shows you, you will never be disappointed!
