Jim and Casper Go to Church (Barna Books, 2007) is the book title of the adventures of Jim Henderson and Matt Casper as they traversed America, stopping off at different churches. They hit the famous ones and some unknown ones, too, on their weekend journeys.
Casper, the friendly hired atheist for the project, commented on Moody Radio's Open Line that he felt his house church experience was the "most authentic."
Does the church take her cues from atheists? Well, that would depend... Dialogue is a good start.

It's good to know something in what we do calls out to the needs of a lost man's soul. And some things are so obvious, even sinners can grasp it. However, I don't think it counts for much by itself.
