Today we had a very precious gathering at Charlie and John's. (Over 7 hours
of non-stop fellowship.) Bob and Gail Denton showed up. (Man, these guys are
everywhere!) They are just as happy in the Lord as can be. Also Jim and
Jayne Bennet were w/ us. I had never met them before. Jim has gotten another
job and the family is scheduled to move close to Kev and Ruthie Sapp for the
church life in the San Francisco area.

These guys are a riot-- so full of Christ. I fell in love w/ them right
away. My wife, who is a quite and analytical person, expressed how she
enjoyed them and was so glad she was able to meet them.

Dear saints, what we all are experiencing is beyond words. It is truly the
Lord's doing. Jayne expressed what wrecked her for real fellowship w/ others
under the headship of Jesus Christ was the gathering at Alabama last
February.

Our prayers go out to Jim and Jayne in their new adventure of moving and
caring for their children.

A couple of weeks ago I met Texas Jerry and family and now the Bennets. It
just keeps getting better and better. How precious are the Lord's people,
His jewels.

At this pace, what is Labour Day going to be like. I may burst w/ joy.
