I've been falling behind on incorporating fresh resources about house/simple/home church- I guess I've got my mind so full of things I've already learned and haven't yet mastered, I've gotten lazy. Yet, I know I need to be continuously challenging myself to get more of Jesus and less of my old traditions into my daily life. I've also read enough and changed enough that sometimes I look at what someone else wrote, and think, "I don't need to read this, I could've written it" - not that I'm arrogant, just catching up to the people who are writing... After all, we're all pretty much in the slow class. Anybody else notice that? I just really feel like the Lord is saying, "Finally! What took you so long to see this?"
So... any great revelations on house church from the Bible or other resources?
I'm especially interested in new books coming out that will be good to pass on to people who are still "inside the matrix". Change is happening so fast, that much of what I read four years ago seems very outdated, assuming things I don't assume any more, such as what leadership will look like, what "meetings" will look like (I do like the word "gathering" or better yet, "riot" better than meeting!) or "what will we do with the children" type questions.
Two things I'm particularly looking for if anyone can help me: books or essays on home as a center for community a la Celtic Evangelism or L'Abri, or on the topic of extending house church beyond one's local community.

I hope you won't mind if I send you something a little light-hearted. The Lord has opened up the doors for me to make movies. This is the first, 5-minute creation, with the hopes of more to come for His glory. Please enjoy!
