These are resources that are not "about" house church, but that reveal a truth in a meaningful way. Some of the most helpful ideas I've gotten about how to get outside of the box have come from non-biblical or non-house-oriented works.
"Wild At Heart" by John Eldridge. Critical for understanding the Father Heart and the Big Adventure He has placed us in.
"No Compromise: Keith Green" by Melody Green. Keith and Melody "accidentally" started a house church in California in the 70's, and their story of building relationships in a house community are spot-on.
"Miracle; the story of the 1980 US Olympic Hockey Team". This movie is so breathtakingly dense, that I've watched it about 12 times to pull out the "God's Warfare Narrative" out of it, and we are still plumbing the depths.
"Living Water in Indian Bowl", the story of the Devotee to Jesus in India. Reading about the "unAmericanization" of the gospel in India helps me "unAmericanize" it in my own life.
"Biblical Holism and Agriculture" This book containing essays from a symposium on agriculture are not just about farming - they reveal God's heart for The Land and People he has created.
"Extending the Table" A community cookbook. Chock full of stories about food, hunger, hospitality and being God's people around the world, as well as recipes that get us eating "whole foods" in tasty ways.

Thank you Laurie Ann- I will look for these resources!
Here are a few things I have watched and read recently that have moved me:
"End of the Spear". Amazing story made into an amazing movie! They broke from the missionary structure of the time and God did some amazing things in this Central Am tribe!
"Facing the Giants". A line from this movie was "prepare your fields, and wait for rain". This made me think how christians and Churchs often try to produce the rain themselves (programs, etc), rather than wait for God and His power- which is infinately greater than our own.
"To Kill a Mockingbird". An American classic book I read recently in book club. It highlights a consevative Christian communities response to their own societies ills. It is interesting how they clearly see other cultures sins, but blindly participate in the sins of their own time and culture. It also hilights one man who rises above- and sees situations and people through Gods eyes.
"Eternity in Their Hearts". A book abour missons to unreached people groups. Some amazing stories that helped me better understand the "what about people who have never heard" question better.
