Hello:I represent a company (Harbinger Communications in Elgin, Ill.) that produces video resources for church use, mainly short-form video (three to eight minutes in length) in a topical nature, as well as graphic images and stock photography used mainly for PowerPoint presentations. We also sell video projection equipment (projectors, screens and such). Our business has heretofore sold to institutional churches across all dominations (primarily evangelical however).
I am not here attempting to sell anythere, I want to see if house churches may be interested in using any of our products. I am aware of the movement, and after researching various house church web sites, I am not sure.
I would like feedback on the use of video resources on house church gatherings. Would any be interested in using videos, or video resources? What are common opinions on the use of technology or arts in general, espcially opinions based on biblical arguments? Is video projection even a possibility, especially in a home theatre setting?
Although we are a for-profit business, we have a strong sense of ministry, especially of using arts and technology in worship. I would like to understand how the house church movement in general views this idea.
