Just a thought. What is the focus of home churches? I do agree sometimes a subject takes the monopoly for a time; but what is the focus if not on various doctrines? Many threads deal with "how to" home church. The how to includes various doctrines such as do we home church on Sat or Sun. and why? Another(mentioned in Jeff's post) would be do we observe man made holidays, is it scriptural or should home churchers stop observing these things of men?
Home church encompasses everything in the scriptures lest it becomes just another denomination itself. Isn't the purpose of this board for homechurchers to meet and discuss issues they are dealing with, seperating doctrines of men from doctrines of the scriptures, etc.?
The first step is to leave the IC. The next step is to clear up the error and confusion taught in the IC. How can one ever do that if all they ever talk about is how to leave the IC? Shouldn't the focus be on what next? Studying and proving the good and acceptable will of God.

Is there a possibility that what you describe and ask for is the pure experience of being assembled by the assembling in the simple devotion to Christ-Jesus, where adversity and deceit are overcome by His voice within and His presence in our midst?
