Have you invited people who are curious to get together and talk about simple church? Yes. With what result? Several friends have started a simple church that is pretty faithful to the model. Have you visited a simple church someone else was doing? Yes. Have you invited people who are curious to get together and talk about simple church? Yes. With what result? A new simple church. Others are mulling it over.

Hi- I looked for a place to answer this poll elsewhere on the website and couldn't find it , so I'll do my best to answer here.
Yes- We currently meet weekly as a simple(house) church with others outside of our household.
Yes- We have met for worship with just our family.
Yes- We have made phone calls to others in our area- both to people we know that we thought might be interested, and to a couple of groups that we heard were meeting as a simple church in our area.
Yes- some of those who are meeting with us started because of original phone calls. We have also met with another group in our area -brought our groups together for combined worship- a couple of times.
Yes- The group that I mentioned has recently multiplied into 2 groups that meets together as one large group once a month. I would have to know what your definition of simple church is though- as their vision may be a bit different than what you have in mind.
No- no failures yet- though we are fairly new to this as I have mentioned.
Yes- early on we invited a couple of groups who mutually knew each other over to our house to talk about simple church. And we had a number of couples over individually as well. Most of the people who we meet together with for church started with us in this way.
Yes, we have met with the other group I previously mentioned.
