WORLD JUDGED

**When is the judgement of the world? Now. Also Satan is cast out and Christ draws men to him. All these things are now. They began at first advent and continue on presently till the end.

John 12:31-32 (KJV)
Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. [32] And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

**I am reminded of the passage in Rev. 12:9-10 The deceiver was cast to earth and he persecuted the church and still does.

REGENERATED SAINTS JUDGE ISRAEL.

1 Cor. 6:2 (KJV)
Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

Matthew 19:28 (KJV)
And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

**Not too long ago I thought Mt. 19 referred to the future after Christ comes for us to change us into spirit beings. But I’ve reconsidered in light of,

Luke 22:29-30 (KJV)
And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; [30] That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

1 Cor. 10:21 (KJV)
Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

** We are now partakers of either the Lord’s table or that of devils. Those of us born of spirit partake of the Lord’s table now

Ephes. 2:6 (KJV)
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

** Aren’t the thrones mentioned in Luke 22 and Rev. 20 the same as us sitting in the heavenly places in Christ? This is our position now. We sit in the heavenlies We are citizens of his kingdom now. The world is judged now. Are we now judging Israel?
And how could we judge Israel or the world when many passages tell us not to judge?

WE AREN’T TO JUDGE OTHER MEN

Matthew 7:1-2 (KJV)
Judge not, that ye be not judged. [2] For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

**Boy that’s a verse to remember when we start judging our fellow men.

Luke 6:37 (KJV)
Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Romans 14:10 (KJV)
But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

Romans 14:13 (KJV)
Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

Note we are ask why we judge our brother because all of us are going to stand before the judgment seat of Christ. Seems a mystery how we can be judges of Israel and the world doesn’t it? Especially when we consider God and Christ are our judges.

GOD JUDGES

John 12:47-48 (KJV)
And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. [48] He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words,[/b] hath one that judgeth him:[/b] the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Hebrews 10:30 (KJV)
For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

Hebrews 13:4 (KJV)
Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge

JESUS JUDGES

Luke 19:22 (KJV)
And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:

John 5:30 (KJV)
I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

Acts 10:42 (KJV)
And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

John 16:8-11 (KJV)
And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: [9] Of sin, because they believe not on me; [10] Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; [11] Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

**Noticed that the prince of the world is judged now.

JUDGED BY CHRIST

John 12:47-48 (KJV)
And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. [48] He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words,[/b] hath one that judgeth him:[/b] the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

**How can we be judged by Christ if Christ said he came not to judge the world?

Acts 17:30-31 (KJV)
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: [31] Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

**Noticed God judges the world by Christ. Christ is the standard. Do we believe or are we unbelievers? That is the judgment question. That is how we are judged by Christ. Do we believe, if so we are justified and accounted righteous. If we don’t believe we are still considered sinners and shall be punished accordingly.

Romans 2:14-16 (KJV)
For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: [15] Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) [16] In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Matthew 12:18-21 (KJV)
Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles. [19] He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets. [20] A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory. [21] And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.

JUDGMENT BY ACTIONS OR BY CERTAIN THINGS

Romans 2:26-3:7 (KJV)
Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? [27] And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law? [28] For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: [29] But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Romans 2:12 (KJV)
For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

James 2:12 (KJV)
So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

** Just so the standards of law can judge one. This is what judging “by” something or someone means. Standards of comparison are set and compared to your actions and beliefs.

ALREADY JUDGED?

[3:1] What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? [2] Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God. [3] For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? [4] God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. [5] But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man) [6] God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world? [7] For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I alsojudged as a sinner?

**Aren’t we already judged sinners and the penalty is death? But we do have hope and that hope is Christ. Belief in him saves us from that judgment penalty.

NOT JUDGED BY MEN

1 Cor. 2:15 (KJV)
But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

1 Cor. 4:3 (KJV)
But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.

**Interesting that we are not judged by men. Well, they may judge us; but it doesn’t have any effect on our standing before God. That’s between him and us.

WHEN ARE SAINTS JUDGED?

1 Peter 4:17-18 (KJV)
For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? [18] And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
** Saints are judged now. “time is come” That’s 2000+ that the judgment has been going on.

1 Cor. 11:31-32 (KJV)
For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. [32] But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

**We must be judged during our lifetime or else we couldn’t be chastened.

2 Tim. 4:8 (KJV)
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

**Notice in 2 Tim that our crowns or rewards are already laid up for us. Thus, we have been judged worthy to receive them because we are in Christ.

Romans 5:16 (KJV)
And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.

Romans 5:18 (KJV)
Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

**We are already guilty and judged of being sinners, but if we believe, that account is laid aside and we are justified in Christ, by Christ’s payment of our debt.

James 5:9 (KJV)
Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.

**He is watching us now. When Christ returns everything is settled and reward or punishment is handed out.

JUDGEMENT IS HANDED OUT AT CHRIST RETURN

1 John 4:17 (KJV)
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

Rev. 6:10 (KJV)
And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

**Notice that judgment deals with avenging the saints. It is punishment handed out.

Romans 2:5 (KJV)
But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

2 Cor. 5:10 (KJV)
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

**The final sentencing of judgment is handed out on the day of the Lord for those who did good or bad. However, the decision of judgment has already been made. The believers have one reward and the unbelievers receive another. We are judged now in this life but the sentence is not handed out until Christ returns.

2 Peter 2:9 (KJV)
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

**Just as our crowns are reserved so is the punishment of the unjust reserved.

2 Peter 3:7 (KJV)
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Jude 1:6 (KJV)
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

**We know Satan and his angels are already judged evil but will receive punishment on the last great day.

Rev. 11:18 (KJV)
And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Rev. 20:12 (KJV)
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Rev. 20:13 (KJV)
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

**We could say we are judged by our works for our works tell if we believed or not.

Rev. 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

**Note it is an hour of judgment to hand out the rewards.

So, how do the saints judge and is it now? I believe we judge the house of Israel in the same way we are judged by Christ. We are the standard, not because we are better or more moral and such; but because we believed in Christ. Our action of belief is what judges Israel and the world. Unbelievers are judged now.

I think we all agree if we died now that our heavenly fate would be sealed as either a believer or non-believer. Belief is the criteria for judgment. That is why we are warned many times not to judge our fellow men for we can’t see in their hearts and know if they really believe or not. We can’t always know why they do what they do. We can judge actions as wrong; but we can’t judge the salvation of someone. That is reserved for God.

Thus, is it possible to see that we now reign with Christ and even judge with him?

1 Thes. 5:21 (KJV)
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
