Has anyone read KP Yohannan's book, Revolution in World Missions? I recommend it. To order a free book: https://www.gfa.org/freebook?motiv=WA60-PHB1

He talks about how much easier it is for a native to reach the lost in their own country than a foreigner. They already know the language and the culture, and can endure it. Also, in countries that the door is closed for Christians to enter, natives can be trained in the Word and reach their own. Anyways, it was a new concept for me, but makes sense! A native can live on $90 a month versus an American missionary, who would probably require several thousand.

With that in mind, we are also able to reach our own, our neighbors, even if we are not able to go overseas. I realize though that our nation is saturated with the Gospel, but many have not heard the real Gospel of Christ. I may should post this elsewhere, but I am curious how other home churches reach their communities.

We read it and we loved it. Now we need to read it again. Thank you for the reminder.
