Yes, darlene, God knows that there is something disarming and even 
intimate about dining together which is why the early church meetings 
were dinner meetings, for the most part.

A rich tradition of symbolic meals is also discovered in Jewish history. 
Somewhere between now and then, these traditions fell by the way in many 
parts of the church.
