House Church Talk - Practical HC Question....

Hey there Dan...
There was an old saying when I was much, much younger: "You can take a boy
out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the boy!" Many
follow out of the IC into the HC thinking that it will grow into something
better than the church that they left. Then when it doesn't turn out the way
that they expected they are off to the next adventure. But, this isn't
anything new for in the NT Jesus found that there were many who came and
became followers just for the food and entertainment. What the Lord is
looking for is those who can stay the course even though things don't work
out to their satisfaction. If someone comes and doesn't want to stay the
course through thick and thin then they should be released for ministry back
inside the IC...love them, yes, but let them go, well yes again. God will
finish the work that He has started...not the work that we have started.
Don't make the radical change from the comforts of the IC to the rigors of
the HC until God truly calls you to the task.

Love from the hills of Texas....Robert Moseley
