What an experience you went through! It seems so hard to believe that such
things actually occur although I have heard stories like yours so often I
know they do.

I praise the Lord that He brought your family out together!

I guess it is stories like that that sometimes frighten people away from any
kind of home church. Besides looking for controlling things like you
described from your experience, what things would you suggest to people as
'red flags' to be aware of if they join a new group?
