"God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should be saved
through Jesus Christ our Lord"
Pray for those who don't know that Lord Jesus Christ that they would get
saved before they are killed. If they don't know Jesus Christ as their Lord and
savior, and die, ... Needless to say there is a hell to shun and a heaven
to gain, and the only way to 'gain' heaven is "through" Jesus Christ. He
Himself stated that He was the door, and relating to Himself: "I am the way, the
truth, and the Life, no man comes unto the Father but by me.".
We need to pray for those who persecute us, that they might be saved. If we
aren't praying for them to be saved, than the question becomes one of: do
we, as the church, really believe in a real hell to shun and a real heaven to
gain?
If they die choosing not to accept Christ, that is their choice. But while
they are alive, we, as followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, need to continue
to pray for their salvation as well as for the safety of the troops that have
to face the serious task of ending the lives of those that have chosen to die.
Sincerely,
A Bond-Servant of the Lord Jesus Christ,
Adam K Waggoner
