House Church Talk - Re: cessation of spiritual gifts

Again I share for your consideration, facts, not stories.  I remember 
breathing my last breaths, yet I now live a second chance given.  My body suffered 
severe trauma, yet 3 days later I left the hospital with only a black eye.  One 
additional piece of information-It had been raining and sleeting the night 
that I was beaten and stripped of all that was on my person, however of all the 
soaked things that were retreived, there were only two items that were bone 
dry-the two bibles that I carried with me, when I was "jumped".  I can not prove 
to you that the gifts are applicable, the only reaction that I could possibly 
give to you was given by the man to the priests that was healed by Jesus, even 
though he was born blind.  If you do not consider that the gifts are still 
applicable, than I leave that between you and Christ.  One of my cherished 
examples of G-d's Grace, is that from the loins of a dead man, my two children live 
today.
