Hi Lee,
As you have noticed, those who participate on the list are not "screened"
for their knowledge or doctrinal positions. Any person - lost or saved,
naughty or nice - with an internet connection can find their way onto
House Church Talk and instantly participate. Many do not even read the guidelines
because they "don't like to be told what to do." Therefore, stuff is
going to eventually happen that ain't gonna suit the others. :-)
(Whatever the moderator does or doesn't do will always be criticized ad
infinitum, of course, which is why self-moderation is encouraged.)
Concerning Jim, those who doubt him might check the archives or do a
google groups search on "goodword and Christian" together. For me, Jim is
the real deal and has been a huge encourager over many years. He
regularly travels into the most hostile :-E environments of internet
discussion, such as usenet, in order to lift up our Lord and the words of
eternal life.
Lee, please feel free to return, later. I am certain God can and will
employ you among the saints in cyber-space, brother, here and afar.
As always, let us who remain not be overcome with evil, but let us
overcome evil with good. That's 'good' as in Jesus, the 'Good Shepherd.'

Mail traffic has been high lately so if you want the digest version of
this list just go to the link at the bottom of each post and change to
the daily digest. Digesters, btw, should always change the subject line
after they hit their reply button. Thanks.
House Church Talk is sponsored by the House Church Network.
House Church Talk has been renamed. These discussions, via the web, now occur at the Radically Christian Cafe.
