Congratulations Mr and Mrs Gene Edwards
We don't hear too much from Gene Edwards lately. I recently noticed that he had celebrated a rare and important anniversary. Not the 25th, not the 35th, not the 45th, not the 55th... ~ Drum roll ~ How about the 66th?
Interestingly, he and Helen were married before a nationwide television audience of millions.
Gene isn't my favorite writer but others hold him in high esteem. His influence is undeniable. Regardless, let us give credit where it is truly due. This is a monumental achievement. And an excellent example to all who bear the name of Christ. Especially when marriage, even within the church, has fallen onto hard times.
