Definition

A house church might be defined as two or more persons coming together in the name of Jesus Christ.


Such meetings are not an end in themselves but a means of fellowship with God and one another. Channels of encouragement are prayer, study, and a meal of commemoration.

Revelation

Greet also the church that meets at their house. Romans 16:5

Objection

House Churches are biblical but are they the only required form?

No, most forms offer unique advantages as well. Scriptures also record large meetings. We must utilize every medium to our Lord's glory.
