Here is the deep woods of the Appalachia, we tithe 100% and give our
"pastor" nothing.
Judy, are you being serious with this question?

If so, please email me privately at rjohnson at wise.k12.va.us

Hi Frank. Yes, both Gene Edwards and x?x live in Jacksonville
and their group in Jacksonville meets on Saturdays.
What kind of group are you meeting with? I network with a number of
people all over Florida and would be interested in learning more about
what you are doing. Write me at David at InnGlory.org if you are
interested in talking more. I can help you get hooked up with Gene
and
Frank.
Peace be with you.

Hi everyone,
There are free rippers like dbPowerAMP and Oscar's Sound Recorder
than you can download from
http://www.dbpoweramp.com/ (dbPowerAMP is more than just a ripper
and requires some playing around in order to figure out how to use
it; can play Real Player format and convert it to anything else)
http://www.pcclubaid.net/download.html (phenomenal little utility
that uses the sound card to record anything that is played through
it; use it to record Real Player files while being played)

Dear friends,
This has been the most horrible, nerve wracking, frightening week of my
=
life.
Let me give you some background first:
As most of you know I am a partially disabled grandma, and a widow and
=
have some problems walking at times due to post polio syndrome. However
=
I can drive usually for up to at least an hour at a time before my legs
=
give out and certainly short trips are fine.=20
And my daughter-in-law, Jennifer, who has seizures has had exactly the
=
opposite problem, she always could walk but isn't allowed to drive, =
making holding down a part time job and caring for two little kids very
=
difficult.
Soooooo as most of you know, for over 2 years now my son, =
daughter-in-law and the kids and I have lived together and it has been
a =
win/win situation for all concerned. I drive, she walks and we both
take =
turns watching the 2 little ones and my son has been able to go back to
=
college and it all works beautifully.
Well Jennifer started in November experiencing some partial blindness,
=
and some dizzy spells and we started a journey of taking her from
doctor =
to doctor and no one could find anything wrong, and meanwhile she got
=
worse and worse and it finally got to where she could not keep anything
=
down, constant vomiting, and could not walk at all without stumbling
and =
falling.
So then we switched tactics and we started a journey of taking her from
=
hospital to hospital, two different hospitals kept her overnight and
ran =
tests but couldn't find anything wrong so the released her.=20
But after the first of the year she got worse yet. The first week of =
January she not only was constantly vomiting even with the strongest =
nausea medicine they can prescribe, {she has lost 12 pounds in two =
months} and stumbled so much she fell twice and sustained two head =
injuries and a black-eye, along with numerous bruises, BUT she was =
beginning to hallucinate and suffer all kinds of bizarre behavior and
=
personality changes.
Once more she stayed overnight in a hospital but blood-work and CAT =
scans and some other tests didn't show anything so THEY RELEASED HER.
And twice she didn't even get admitted to the hospital but was released
=
from the emergency room, "well take her to THIS hospital over here.we
=
can't help her".
Can't? or won't?
Of course part of the reason for releasing someone so obviously ill is
=
no insurance.
For those of you not in the USA, yes this is the American way.either
you =
have a nice job with insurance or if you are just trying your best to
=
make it with what you can do . you fall through the cracks, and do not
=
qualify for any kind of medical help and so hospitals are like."well if
=
you can find a program that will pay .bring her back and we'll run some
=
more intensive tests."
Grhhhhhh....
My son, {her husband} and I have tried and tried to find help.
Meanwhile =
she became bedridden and needed 24/7 care for the last two days she was
=
still at home.
Finally we got real drastic, I won't go into details but WE GOT REAL =
DRASTIC .and the poor thing was probably one step away from a coma at
=
that point and thank God she is in a hospital now [even if it is 100 =
miles away, that's ok] and being cared for.
They feel she may have sustained a head injury of some kind, possibly
=
while having a seizure back in November and may have a blood clot, or a
=
lesion on her brain, or the head injury she had as a 5 year old that =
causes her siezures in the first place may be getting worse, they
really =
don't know yet as their first priority is to get her medically stable
=
after having gone through so much and all the vomiting.
It may take awhile to figure out just what it is, but we are reasonably
=
sure she won't be released this time, from this hospital.praise God.
And =
to be fair ...it COULD be the injury {IF there truly is one} is in the
=
frontal lobe and ordinary CAT scans and MRI's won't pick it up because
=
it's too deep in the brain, but once the symptoms got bad enough they
=
can almost diagnose it from the symptoms alone.
They say she can't walk without stumbling and falling because she has
=
one side of her brain with some damage and the other side is trying to
=
take over for both sides but can't get the hang of it ..so her left
foot =
acts like a left foot, and her right foot since it's getting messages
=
from the wrong side of the brain is acting like a left foot too.
In other words she puts her left foot down where it belongs but she
ALSO =
puts her right foot down where her left foot belongs and that's why she
=
falls.
Please pray for her and my son and pray for her two kids aged 4 and 5,
=
as they are old enough to know something really bad is going on, but
too =
young to understand anything other than mama is very sick, daddy and =
nana are worried and they are scared.
I've been trying to hug and hold them and let them ask questions and =
just talk as much as I can.
God bless each and everyone of you, Sue

Jeanne,
I am starting an epilepsy foundation here... today just spent the
morning
at the hopital, and I might be able to help you. With questions about
the
seizures, write me privately: I am quite an expert on the kinds of
epilepsy that is called idiopathic: nothing comes out on tests.
But I can't believe she isn't being given a harder medication. I have
just
switched from Rivotril and Ativan back to phenobarbital, and that is
probably what she needs, BUT if she keeps throwing up, you might want
to
get her some marihuana: legal for epilepsy, and the ONLY thing that
really
works against the vomiting, aside from opium. I HATE to recommend such
a
thing, but it did help me earlier this year when because of political
turmoil, my meds all disappeared: let's remember that NOTHING God made
is
bad, only we can use it badly, but it can all be used well, too. (this
does not apply to cocaine, crack or heroin which are chemically altered
by
men)
Please write me privately if you want.
BTW, God seems to be happy with my work: as soon as I arrived home
from
the hospital, the high-class hospital of this city where i will set up
a
support group, and we are also setting up a foundation in Miami to
receive
donations, there was a package from the Epilepsy foundation waiting for
me
at home. I had been thinking, 'well, I need now to prepare the radio
and
TV shows,' and right there, in the package, was everything I need to
say!
It even included comics with first aid instructions!
BTW, my mother and father have also been great at caring for my own
children, as you have, jeanne. And I will be praying for both of you.
Vanessa from Maracaibo, Venezuela

Sue ~
Will be praying. My, the job of parenting is never done, is it? How
blessed they are to have you and for you to have them. I think it's
time
for this great land of ours to offer national health insurance. I know
it's
not perfect, but I think it's the way we need to go. Anyway, I'll be
praying for Jennifer. Please keep us posted. May God give you and
your son
strength and peace and may the children feel great calmness in your
home.

Hello!
I am Lyle Cooper from Tulsa, Oklahoma. I was reading your post of your
trips to China and was very interested, sine I am planning to go to
China myself. I am planning to teach English as a way to get in and
get
started, but my heart is ministering in the home churches. I am a
graduate of Rhema here in Tulsa, and am excited to get started in
ministry in China. I am a teacher, and I understand that the church in
China is asking for teachers. I have been on the web to china, working
mostly with college students, since they are the ones on the web. I
have about 12 converts in one year. I thank God for that, but it is
going so slow, and time is so short. I would like your opinion as to
what province would be my best choice for opportunites to minister in
the underground church. I have been leaning towards Hangzhou in
Zhejiang province. Any input would be greatly appreciated. If I can be
of assistance to you, let me know.
In Christ,
Lyle
