Brothers and sisters, I am sorry to report that I have learned to pay absolutely no attention to this modern "Christian music."  I have visited these churches, but over the last 15 years each one felt to me as if the music was more of a placeholder and entertainment.
The Spirit leads me to hold that Christian music is prayer, and prayer that asks for forgiveness, and forgiveness that then opens the door to worship, and then it is worship that both begs and praises.
