I presume that the question was asked with respect to current
christians? Once reconciled, is there a need for continuous
reconciliation? Seems that once done, no sense doing that work that
accomplishes reconciliation again and again. Yes, we sin, and yes, we
are out of fellowship with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ when we
obey sin - but that is spoken about clearly in Ro7 and then a
wonderful conclusion to this situation in Ro8. So, yes, we do need to
work out our salvation, but it is God who is at work in us. A book I
always enjoy by AWTozer is wonderful with respect to the conundra that
comprises the Christian - That Incredible Christian is the title and
it is a very old book.

I think God reads all email. That constitutes the relationship you
are inquiring about, doesn't it? If not, what constitutes the talking
with him? Yes, we each pray without ceasing - that is part of it
also, but maybe you could tell me/us more about what it is you are
saying? Thank you Phillip.

Along these lines, I will put up again, one of my favorite hymns which
comes close to expressing a lot in these regards. Perhaps we all know
this hymn?

The bride eyes not her garment
But her dear bridegroom's face
I will not gaze at glory
But on my king of grace
Not at the crown he giveth
But on His pierced hands
The Lamb is all the glory
Of Immanuel's Land
