Could we be missing something?
After decades of enthusiastic involvement in non-denominational church, denominational church as well as house church I am wondering what might be next for my wife and I. We love the Body of Christ, and have no desire to bash what others are doing. At the same time there are issues in many areas where I cannot give approval.
Yet I am absolutely convinced that Christ has His Church, and that the gates of hell cannot prevail against it. I can't help but wonder if there is something better and greater ahead for the people of God. If there is, I hope to be a part of it.

Hiya dear Dan. You are already a part of it, as far as I am concerned. Just as Paul said: You have many teachers but not many fathers. You are not only a brother to me but also a spiritual father.
My faith had almost failed during several points in my life but you were there for me. Back in the nineties we discovered that home church folk were, as a whole, little different from any others. Some worse... Haha.
I was carefully searching then for something/somebody/somewhere REAL. Who was truly seeking the Kingdom rather than trying to live off of it or make merchandise of it.
I have often thought of your eagerness to help others and of your sacrifices and of your self-financed trips to India. And of your books which you freely offer to others. Freely received and freely given.
Many years ago, you came from afar and re-baptized me in that cold river in Tennessee. Again, you came all the way from Ohio to plead with my former wife who was about to needlessly dismember a family with six children.
Brother, let us, in His strength alone, be like the wall builders in Nehemiah, who labored with a sword in one hand and a trowel in the other. We can do many things while we wait upon doors to open. With simultaneous offensive and defensive activities as we love others along the way. And as we pray to be led by the Spirit.
Bashing nobody yet holding to the timeless principles of holy Scripture. Praying for more light from Above. And for heat to go with it.
Your love for all the saints is self-evident. I am confident that the Almighty has good things in store for you and Brenda, regardless of when, where, or how. And that you will bring eternal blessings to many others just as you have to me.
Please keep us informed. You are in our prayers and forever in our hearts!
The family of God, the body of Jesus Christ - what a beautiful thing it is. Our names written in his eternal book before the foundations of the world!

David, I don't know what to say. I am so encouraged by your words. Your partnership in the Lord certainly means as much to me. Thank you.
