Needless to say, many people, even in the church, treat the Holy Spirit as if He were their private "Genie in a bottle" - ready to serve them instead of them serving the Almighty.

Acts 1: 8 reminds us about what the Holy Spirit will actually enable us to do - get scattered and become his witnesses everywhere!

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
